A Minor Place @Hartamas Shopping Centre

July 26, 2016

First of all, I would like to apologise for this long overdue blog post. My old laptop crashed and the photos were stuck in there for heaven knows how long (a year actually) until I finally retrieved them after sending my dear old lappy for repair. Now. Read on, you shall.

All of us secretly agree that despite how intriguing those atas fine dining restaurants are, nothing beats a cafe bistro that serves reasonably cheap simple meals in a modest setting (and which actually leaves you with a full stomach too!)

Though humbled by its name, A Minor Place(AMP) is definitely a major one when it comes to food, price and service. This delightful eatery is located in an upmarket suburb of KL. A rare find indeed.

My coursemates and I went over for late lunch that day and we were surprised by the wide variety of cuisines the cafe had to offer. At a very low price, even students like us are able to afford their lunch and dinner buffets without having to think twice. However, we were too late for their awesome RM11 eat-all-you-can buffet lunch. So we decided to order some ala carte instead.

Hungry dental students who can't wait to get their teeth dirty. In a good way.

This al fresco eatery is wide and spacious--- suitable for gatherings of friends and family. We talked happily among ourselves discussing on what to order and soon we were joined by the boss himself! Mr Paul Chua introduced himself to us and was soon accompanied by his wife Molly. both of them gave us suggestions on what to order and which dishes are best in their menu. They were very nice and friendly people. Next time if you happen to be at AMP, be sure to look out for the friendly bosses.

Not long later, our food arrived. I shall let the photos do the talking now :')

All in all, we had a very filling, very generously-sized meal for a fairly reasonable price - a modest price for a meal of immodest portions. Sorry dear readers, I just cannot emphasize enough how cheap our meals were. Thanks to my uncle Jacob who recommended us this place. We left Hartamas with a proud stomach showing from under our shirts. A sign of victorious eating. lol

When you're around Hartamas, do give this place a visit. Do your stomach some good will you? :)
